Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale, a Nigerian American pro basketball player for the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. She played in the NCAA basketball tournament with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, before being drafted by the Wings with the fifth overall pick of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale is Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. She has two brothers Mario (26 year older) as well as Dare Ogunbowale (20 years old). Ogunbowale was awarded gold medals in the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship and 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship, as well as the 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. The 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team was announced on 7th July 2014. Ogunbowale also has been named on the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first season as a collegiate player.
